From a wealth management veteran to an M&A exec, Wall Street’s brightest and best are securing new roles this month.
John Sullivan, who once served as the Executive Director of Wealth Advisory Services at Morgan Stanley, the Director of Wealth Management at Smith Barney, a Business Development Officer at Citibank, and an Account Manager at Citigroup Global Equipment Finance, has found a new position with Dynasty Financial Partners. According to Reuters, the New York-based wealth management startup hired Sullivan as the Senior Vice President of RIA and Transition Services. Sullivan’s LinkedIn page confirms his appointment.
Dynasty Financial Partners has yet to conclude its search for new talent. According to the company’s contact page, the firm is still on the lookout for “top wealth management industry talent.”
This week Waller Capital Partners announced that it had hired Bill Bradley as its newest Managing Director. As an executive that specialized in mergers and acquisitions at Citigroup and Credit Suisse, Bradley will lead Waller’s efforts “with data center, managed hosting and cloud computing clients, and will also support the firm’s rapidly growing telecom infrastructure practice.”
Meanwhile, Barton M. Biggs, a former hedge fund manager and Morgan Stanley exec, is being remembered after passing away on July 14. Biggs was in charge of Traxis Partners LP, a hedge fund with $1.2 billion in assets.
Former Morgan Stanley Chairman John J. Mack referred to Biggs as a “refreshing” presence on Wall Street.
“He didn’t have a view that was like everyone else’s,” Mack told the New York Times.
