September 26, 2007 – Fairfield Greenwich Group (“FGGâ€Â), a global alternative asset management firm with over USD $15 billion assets under management, today announced that it has added a senior professional to its team at the hedge fund specialist’s Madrid representative office. Maria Teresa Pulido will join as a Partner and Head of Global Sales. FGG Founding Partner Andrés Piedrahita commented: “As our business continues to grow – thus far during 2007 we have added approximately USD $2.5 billion in assets and more than 15 people to our staff – we believed that it was critical to hire a proven professional of Maria Teresa´s caliber to lead and manage what is now one of the largest dedicated hedge fund marketing teams in the world, a group of over 20 professionals. With Madrid as her base, she will travel and regularly interact with her team in our New York and London offices, as well as at FGG´s other representative offices worldwide. We have high confidence that Maria Teresa will contribute a great deal to FGG´s ongoing business development, as we seek new market opportunities, and continue to expand and improve our enterprise.
