LONDON (Reuters) – The fund of funds team at Henderson told Reuters it has invested in the Cartesian UK Opportunities fund, a portfolio run by a Resolution Asset Management-backed boutique fund firm.
Cartesian Capital Partners was set up last year by David Stevenson and Andrew Kelly, former fund managers at Scottish-based SVM Asset Management, and runs traditional funds and hedge funds. It is part-owned by Resolution.
Stevenson, who manages the 58 million-pound Cartesian UK Opportunities portfolio, said late on Tuesday that Henderson had invested between 10 million pounds and 15 million pounds in the fund.
