WSJ – The head of the securities division at Citadel Investment Group has left the hedge-fund firm, marking another sign that founder Kenneth Griffin still has work ahead to stabilize senior management ranks.
Mr. Griffin said in an internal memo Monday that he and other executives “did not see eye to eye” with Patrik Edsparr, and that Mr. Griffin last week asked him to leave. Mr. Griffin said their differences included views about “corporate strategy” and “the culture we want to cultivate in Citadel Securities,” the division that had been run by Mr. Edsparr.
