New York (HedgeCo.net) – Pardo Financial Group is launching a managed futures fund that allocates across multiple registered CTAs.
The Pardo Strategic Alpha Fund (PSA), is a multi-advisor fund that combines the return streams of several professional Commodity Trading Advisors to produce attractive risk-adjusted returns with low volatility.
PSA is launching this month and will be diversifying fund assets across a team of established managers whose technical strategies span trend following, counter-trend, pattern recognition, option volatility arbitrage and intramarket spreads. The fund employs strategies across over 40 liquid exchange-traded futures markets worldwide and analyze these markets across several different time frames.
The fund’s performance targets 15%-25% annualized returns with less than 10% historical drawdowns and with annualized volatilities in the 10%-15% range. PSA’s investment team achieves this primarily through its Due diligence also plays a big part in the PSA Fund’s strategy, as the team does rigorous quantitative and qualitative manager screening, selection and monitoring process.
The chief investment manager is Bob Pardo, founder and president of Pardo Financial Group. Pardo has a long history of innovation in the futures industry. As a software developer, consultant, author and CTA, he has made significant contributions to the art and science of today’s industry-wide use of algorithmic software applications and the many different forms of automated trading in widespread use around the world. Pardo applies his decades’ experience designing, analyzing, and validating trading strategies to vetting the trading approaches of today’s top CTAs for potential inclusion in the Pardo Strategic Alpha Fund.
The Pardo Strategic Alpha Fund currently has a capacity of $2 billion, which expands as additional managers are added to the fund.
