Reuters – Two investment funds that allegedly received over $30 million from Bernard Madoff’s firm have lost their bid to overturn a New York bankruptcy court’s refusal to dismiss trustee Irving Picard’s avoidance suit.
U.S. District Judge Kimba M. Wood of the Southern District of New York ruled that immediate review of the Bankruptcy Court’s non-final order was not required because there is no substantial ground for disputing the correctness of ruling.
