Opalesque – Sweden’s largest hedge fund manager Brummer & Partners has announced the launch of its private equity initiative in the Philippines. According to the firm’s 48-page annual report, the push to establish its presence in the Philippines actually began in 2011.
In an interview with Opalesque, Brummer & Partners’ Head of Communications Jacob Lannerö, a team of experts from the company is already in Manila to look for opportunities particularly among unlisted Philippine companies from different sectors.
