Professional Pensions – Increasing direct hedge fund investment by UK schemes is driving fund of fund managers to become more like consultants, industry figures say.
Campion Capital – a fund research and distribution firm – said the increasing number of schemes opting for direct hedge fund exposure to boost liquidity and transparency was forcing FoF managers to change their business model and enter a market traditionally occupied by pension scheme consultants.
