Investment Forum seeking entrepreneurs

The Southwest Capital Conference is set for Sept. 17-18.

The Oklahoma Investment Forum is accepting applications from entrepreneurs who would like to make presentations at the 14th Annual Southwest Capital Conference to be held Sept. 17-18 in Tulsa.

OIF is seeking viable, fast-growing companies with a defined market, product or service in need of capital.

The two-day event showcases Oklahoma and regionally based entrepreneurial companies seeking high-risk financing.

The Southwest Capital Conference is one of the leading capital conferences in the nation, providing educational, promotional and networking opportunities for the investment, entrepreneurial and service provider communities.

Last year’s conference featured venture capital from 10 different states with more than $6 billion in managed funds.

To be considered as one of the showcased companies for the conference, individuals can provide their application and four-page executive executive summary online at www.oifonline.org.

The deadline for applications is June 30.

All executive summaries are kept confidential and reviewed by an unbiased panel of professionals to determine eligibility.

Selected companies will have the opportunity to give an oral presentation at the conference.

Exhibit booths also will be available to entrepreneurs, investors, service providers, government-economic development organizations, private equity companies and educational institutions.

For registration and more information on booths or booth applications, please visit the Web site at www.oifonline.org or call the Oklahoma Investment Forum at 712-8922.
