Stamford, CT and London (Press release) – Chilton Investment Company, LLC, a global investment management firm with approximately $6 billion in assets under management, announced today that Frederic Gautier has joined the firm as Portfolio Manager of Chilton\u2019s European equities strategy. The firm commenced its European equities strategy in 1999.<\/p>\n
Gautier is a veteran money manager who spent 11 years of his career, from 1994-2005, at Fidelity Investments in London, where he managed over $5 billion in assets in a number of Pan European funds, which significantly outperformed the MSCI Pan Europe index over the period he managed the funds from 2001-2005. \u00a0In 2006 \u00a0Gautier was hired as a Portfolio Manager at Theorema Asset Management. \u00a0For four years Frederic helped to manage the assets of the firm\u2019s $1.2 billion long\/short Pan European equities fund, which had very impressive performance during his tenure.<\/p>\n
Gautier will report to\u00a0Richard L. Chilton, Jr., <\/strong>Chairman, CEO and Chief Investment Officer of Chilton Investment Company and will be based in Chilton\u2019s London office.<\/p>\n Chilton said, \u201cWe are very excited that Frederic has joined the firm.
