{"id":17860,"date":"2010-09-23T12:19:44","date_gmt":"2010-09-23T16:19:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.hedgeco.net\/news\/?p=17860"},"modified":"2010-09-23T12:19:44","modified_gmt":"2010-09-23T16:19:44","slug":"former-acpi-officer-sues-u-k-hedge-fund-for-underpaying-bonus-bullying","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hedgeco.net\/news\/09\/2010\/former-acpi-officer-sues-u-k-hedge-fund-for-underpaying-bonus-bullying.html","title":{"rendered":"Former ACPI Officer Sues U.K. Hedge Fund for Underpaying Bonus, Bullying"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bloomberg &#8211; The former chief investment officer of ACPI Investments Ltd.\u2019s fund-of-hedge-funds business sued the firm for underpaying his bonus and claimed he was bullied by management.<\/p>\n<p>Stephen Greene, who joined ACPI\u2019s predecessor in early 2008 as a partner, said in the suit filed in a London court this month that he was \u201cbullied, harassed and threatened.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere was a \u2018culture of aggression\u2019 within the defendant in which partners shouted, swore and bullied staff on a regular basis,\u201d Greene said in the suit. The company said the claims are based on \u201cfallacy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>ACPI, which is based in London and says it manages more than $2.75 billion, was formed last year by the merger of ACP Partners LLP and TriAlpha Investment Advisors Ltd. Former Goldman Sachs Group Inc. partner Alok Oberoi helped found ACP in 2001 with a former Goldman colleague.
