— Michele Cohen, an attorney in the New York Financial<\/p>\n
Restructuring Department, focuses her practice on corporate<\/p>\n
finance and restructuring transactions. She has extensive<\/p>\n
experience in acquisition financings, leveraged restructurings<\/p>\n
and refinancings, and other syndicated lending transactions,<\/p>\n
in addition to high-yield bond issuances, senior and<\/p>\n
subordinated bridge financings, project and structured<\/p>\n
financings, and private placements. Ms. Cohen received her<\/p>\n
B.A., magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Georgetown<\/p>\n
University, and her J.D. from New York University School of<\/p>\n
Law.<\/p>\n
— Anthony Davis, an attorney in the Tax Department, resident in<\/p>\n
London, focuses his practice on a wide range of tax issues in<\/p>\n
the financial sector, handling the tax aspects of<\/p>\n
securitizations, debt issuance and a variety of derivatives<\/p>\n
issues. He also has extensive expertise with UK and<\/p>\n
international tax issues surrounding restructurings and<\/p>\n
corporate reorganizations as well as mergers and acquisitions,<\/p>\n
joint ventures, collective investment schemes and property<\/p>\n
transactions. He graduated with an Upper Second Class<\/p>\n
(Honours) degree from Oxford University and also obtained a<\/p>\n
Masters Degree in Medieval Studies from the University of<\/p>\n
London. He qualified as a solicitor in 1981 and as a Fellow of<\/p>\n
the Chartered Institute of Taxation in 1985.<\/p>\n
— Gregg S. Jubin, an attorney in the Washington Capital Markets<\/p>\n
Department, focuses his practice on corporate and finance<\/p>\n
transactions, with particular emphasis in hedge fund and<\/p>\n
private equity fund-of-funds transactions, structured hedge<\/p>\n
fund transactions, collateralized debt obligations<\/p>\n
transactions, derivative transactions, synthetic structured<\/p>\n
products transactions and other types of structured products<\/p>\n
transactions. Mr. Jubin represents the managers of hedge funds<\/p>\n
and private equity fund-of-funds, collateral managers,<\/p>\n
investment banking firms, commercial banks, broker-dealers and<\/p>\n
other financial institutions. He received his B.S. from<\/p>\n
Montclair State College and his J.D., magna cum laude, from<\/p>\n
Syracuse University College of Law.<\/p>\n
— Douglas I. Koff, an attorney in the New York Litigation<\/p>\n
Department, focuses his practice on large, complex litigation<\/p>\n
matters. Mr. Koff has played a significant role in the Firm’s<\/p>\n
representation of clients in connection with government<\/p>\n
investigations of IPO, research and mutual fund practices as<\/p>\n
well as matters involving securities laws, derivative<\/p>\n
securities and antitrust. He received his B.A. from Earlham<\/p>\n
College and his J.D. from the Columbia School of Law.<\/p>\n
— Brian J. O’Sullivan, an attorney in the New York Litigation<\/p>\n
Department, focuses his practice on complex reinsurance<\/p>\n
litigations and arbitrations. Mr. O’Sullivan has also handled<\/p>\n
many multi-jurisdictional reinsurance disputes. He received<\/p>\n
his B.A., cum laude, from Boston College and his J.D. from<\/p>\n

— Frank Polverino, an attorney in the New York Capital Markets<\/p>\n
Department, focuses his practice on commercial mortgage-backed<\/p>\n
securities (CMBS) and residential mortgage-backed securities.<\/p>\n
He has been responsible for a variety of public and private<\/p>\n
CMBS transactions, including fixed-rate conduit, floating-rate<\/p>\n
conduit, large loan, singe asset and seasoned pool deals, as<\/p>\n
well as resecuritization of CMBS. He received his B.S. from<\/p>\n
New York University’s Stern School of Business and his J.D.,<\/p>\n
cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School.<\/p>\n
— Jeffrey Y. Rotblat, an attorney in the New York Capital<\/p>\n
Markets Department, focuses his practice on all forms of<\/p>\n
commercial mortgage-backed securitization and<\/p>\n
resecuritizations, real estate and asset backed CDOs, whole<\/p>\n
loan trades, franchise loan securitizations, real estate<\/p>\n
participations and real estate mezzanine lending. He has been<\/p>\n

— Martin L. Seidel, an attorney in the New York Litigation<\/p>\n

litigation, antitrust litigation, government investigations,<\/p>\n
internal investigations, and litigation involving contractual<\/p>\n

— Matthew J. Williams, an attorney in the London Banking and<\/p>\n
Finance Department, focuses his practice on high value UK and<\/p>\n
European energy work, including project development and<\/p>\n

privatizations and commodity\/derivatives trading. He has<\/p>\n
