Contri currently serves as Deloitte&#8217;s leader to the banking and securities sector.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are in a unique time, as the strategies that financial institutions undertake today will determine who the leaders are tomorrow,&#8221; Contri said. &#8220;Whether it is regulatory reform, sweeping changes to the mortgage industry or the call for better technology platforms, financial institutions have a lot of work to do in the near-term. And, when it comes to growth, one of the biggest challenges is how to differentiate your financial institution from the competition through service and product innovation.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In his new role, Contri is responsible for providing industry experience to Deloitte client teams across the financial services spectrum, as well as setting overall go-to market strategy and strategic initiatives, including helping clients respond to the Dodd-Frank Act&#8217;s operational and business implications. Deloitte\u2019s financial services industry group is comprised of four key sectors &#8211; Banking &amp; Securities; Insurance; Private Equity, Hedge Funds &amp; Mutual Funds, and Real Estate.<\/p>\n<p>Contri&#8217;s career at Deloitte spans more than 20 years and includes serving in a variety of leadership and strategic client service roles throughout the financial services group, both in the U.S. and at a global level.<\/p>\n<p>Contri succeeds Jim Reichbach, who held the role for the last three years.
