According to a report by\u00a0the\u00a0Stamford Advocate , the firm has secured $250 million from outside investors to be poured into its main fund.<\/p>\n<p>So far this year its assets under management have climbed from $12 billion in January to nearly $14 billion as of June, a gain that includes contributions from Cohen, according to media reports.
