The awards recognize the foundations, endowments, consultants, marketers and investment managers who stood out for their successes, achievements and contributions over the past year.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They&#8217;ve done a nice job of diversifying the portfolio as markets have adjusted,&#8221; said Keith Berlin, director of global fixed-income and credit for Fund Evaluation Group. &#8220;Their allocations to and skill in the long\/short credit and distressed areas have benefitted the fund,&#8221; noted Heck. &#8220;I think part of that expertise comes from their parallel knowledge of the real estate market.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Editorial coverage of this year&#8217;s nominees appears in the July issue of Foundation &amp; Endowment Money Management. On Sunday, September 18, 2011, nominees will be honored and winners will be announced and awarded at the dinner and awards ceremony at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, Miami, Florida.
