\"\"<\/a>New York (HedgeCo.net) – Global hedge fund firm with a total of approximately\u00a0$8 billion\u00a0in assets under management,\u00a0SkyBridge Capital, \u00a0has strengthened its worldwide operations with the addition of\u00a0Max von Bismarck\u00a0as a partner and CEO of the firm’s international operations.<\/p>\n

Previously director and head of investors at the World Economic Forum, Mr.\u00a0von Bismarck\u00a0is based inZurich, Switzerland. He has oversight of SkyBridge’s operations and marketing activities for its flagship fund of funds, seeding and hedge fund advisory services throughout\u00a0Europe, the\u00a0Middle East,\u00a0Asia\u00a0andAustralia.<\/p>\n

“As we respond to increased investor appetite from around the world, Max’s experience and international network will serve as a great asset throughout the overseas markets,” said\u00a0Anthony Scaramucci, managing partner of SkyBridge Capital.<\/p>\n

While with the World Economic Forum (WEF), Mr.\u00a0von Bismarck\u00a0built and led an international team based in\u00a0New York\u00a0and\u00a0Geneva, responsible for all global activities and relationships of WEF related to hedge funds, private equity, institutional investors, family offices and sovereign funds. During his tenure, he was also responsible for WEF’s Global Agenda Council on “The Future of Long-Term Investing” and was a trustee of the WEF\u00a0USA\u00a0retirement plan. Earlier, Mr.\u00a0von Bismarck\u00a0was a managing director at PublicOne and a director legal at Mondus Limited.<\/p>\n

Mr.\u00a0von Bismarck\u00a0studied law and modern history at\u00a0St. John’s College,\u00a0Oxford University\u00a0and Humboldt Universitat zu\u00a0Berlin\u00a0and holds an executive master’s degree in global leadership from the World Economic Forum (a program in collaboration with Wharton\u00a0School of Business, Columbia University, INSEAD and\u00a0London Business School). He is a senior advisor on global business at the Asia Pacific Research Center of\u00a0Stanford University, a senior advisor for\u00a0Europe\u00a0at the Nicolas Berggruen Institute and continues to serve as a senior advisor to the World Economic Forum.<\/p>\n
