New York (HedgeCo.net) – The Ziegler Lotsoff Capital Management Long\/Short Credit Fund (\u201cthe Fund\u201d) seeks to provide current income and\u00a0capital appreciation by investing primarily in investment grade and non-investment grade U.S. fixed income securities.<\/p>\n
The Fund attempts to produce a level of income higher than the level of current income that can be achieved through
\ninvestments solely in investment grade credit quality instruments.<\/p>\n
The Fund applies both a macro \u201ctop down\u201d and\u00a0\u201cbottom up\u201d fundamental investment process which is opportunistic and actively traded through a number of sub-\u00a0strategies. The Fund takes both long and short positions and may invest in both fixed income and equity securities\u00a0through arbitrage, directional or event driven exposures, derivatives, and foreign securities.<\/p>\n
