Silent-auction items raised $10,000 of the total.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBased on tonight\u2019s experience I would say this is going to be the first of many Hamptons events.\u201d Hedge Funds Care founder Rob Davis said. The event was organized by the charity\u2019s NYC Young Professionals Committee.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hedgefundscare.org\/content.asp?pageID=1\" target=\"_blank\">Hedge Funds Care<\/a>\u00a0distributed almost $2.7 million in 2009 and $3.3 million in 2010.
