New York (HedgeCo.Net) – The gross return of the SS&C GlobeOp Hedge Fund Performance Index for March 2013 measured 1.53%. Hedge fund flows as measured by the SS&C GlobeOp Capital Movement Index declined 1.22% in April.<\/p>\n
\u201cApril brings higher capital activity volume with redemptions outpacing subscriptions, which is in line with last month\u2019s slightly higher Forward Redemption Indicator,\u201d said Bill Stone, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, SS&C Technologies.<\/p>\n
The SS&C GlobeOp Capital Movement Index represents the monthly net of hedge fund subscriptions and redemptions administered by SS&C GlobeOp on the GlobeOp platform. This monthly net is divided by the total assets under administration (AuA) for fund administration clients on the GlobeOp platform. Cumulatively, the SS&C GlobeOp Capital Movement Index for April 2013 stands at 148.40 points, a decrease of 1.22 points over March 2013. The Index has advanced 3.54 points over the past 12 months. The next publication date is May 13, 2013.<\/p>\n
