Abraham Brings Outstanding Investing Track Record and Operational Expertise<\/p>\n
Kodiak Venture Partners, a seed and early stage venture firm focused on communications\/IT, semiconductor and software companies, today announced that John Abraham has joined the firm as Venture Partner. Abraham will apply his extensive investing and operating expertise across all of the firm’s areas of technology focus to identify new investments and help Kodiak portfolio company entrepreneurs build their companies.<\/p>\n

Abraham brings more than 25 years of experience in technology investing, executive management and product development to Kodiak. Most recently, Abraham served as Venture Partner focusing on investments in software and e-business sectors at Battery Ventures, where he was an early investor in Applimation, Inc., OpenCOLA, OpenNetwork Technologies and Optiant, Inc. During the past two decades, Abraham also made investments in conjunction with several venture firms, including Battery. His operational experience at technology companies includes earlier posts as Senior Vice President-Engineering at Boole & Babbage, CEO at Condor Technology (now a division of Computer Associates) and Add-Vision, Inc. and Executive Vice President at Compuware (NASDAQ: CPWR). In addition to the companies mentioned above, Abraham has made other successful investments including Witness Systems (NASDAQ: WITS), Business Software Technology, and PhotoDisc.<\/p>\n
