Eswar Menon, Principal and CIO of Denahi, will leverage his 10 years of experience as a lead Portfolio Manager at Loomis Sayles, Nicholas Applegate and Koeneman Capital Management (Singapore). He has been a successful international and emerging markets manager by identifying relative value opportunities through rigorous fundamental research, due diligence and frequent on-site visits. M.D. Sass Investors Services will provide investment expertise, marketing, client service, legal and compliance, administrative and infrastructure support along with operating capital and initial investment capital. M.D. Sass is an active seed partner for start-up and nascent investment management companies.<\/p>\n
Mr. Menon has also worked as a Senior Engineer in the semiconductor industry. Mr. Menon grew up in India and graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, before moving to the United States to pursue higher studies. He attended the University of California, Santa Barbara where he obtained an M.S in Electrical Engineering and later received an MBA with High Honors from the University of Chicago.<\/p>\n
Mr. Menon will be supported by Robert Goulburn and Glow Nair, both of whom have lived and worked as investment professionals in several Asian countries. Mr. Goulburn was a proprietary trader for UBS and Credit Lyonnais. Additionally, he was an Assistant Portfolio Manager\/Trader at Pan Asia Partners, an Asia ex- Japan hedge fund from 1996 to 1998. Mr. Nair was an Assistant Vice President at Citibank’s Asset Finance Group and later at the Asset Lending Group at Deutsche Bank. Mr. Nair also functioned as the Vice President of Hosting and Corporate Development at iAsiaWorks, a publicly traded internet data center company headquartered in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n
