\"people\"<\/a>New York (HedgeCo.Net) – A global hedge fund compliance consultant has added two new members to it’s team.\u00a0Cordium, the new\u00a0new name for HedgeOp Compliance and The IMS Group, has hired Peter Guarino as Vice President at Cordium\u2019s Boston office. Vivek Pingili will take the position as Vice President at it\u2019s New York office.\u00a0Cordium also has offices in London, San Francisco?and Hong Kong.<\/p>\n

Peter Guarino has nearly 30 years\u2019 experience as Chief Compliance Officer (CCO), previously he served as the CCO for Timberline Asset Management LLC, \u00a0IM Compliance LLC, General Counsel for MiFund, Inc. and as the US based CCO for the G.T. Global Funds.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe regulatory and compliance landscape for asset management firms with mutual fund products is evolving rapidly, and there is an increasing demand for expert support to manage compliance in an efficient and positive way,\u201d said Peter. \u201cIt is a great opportunity to be able to blend my investment company knowledge into a firm of Cordium\u2019s caliber and global reach. Vivek\u00a0Pingili joins Cordium from Proskauer Rose LLP, where he specialized in compliance across the entire spectrum of the alternative investments industry throughout his decade-long career in in-house and law firm positions.<\/p>\n
