Mike Hughes, Head of Fund Services, Deutsche Bank said: \u201cWe\u2019re delighted to win this prestigious category and I think it\u2019s an endorsement of the focus we\u2019ve long placed on understanding and delivering to the specific needs of each of our clients. Doing so requires the sort of investment in talented people and flexible technology that only a committed organization likes ours can make.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Global Investor awards recognize the most important contributions to the asset management sector over the past 12 months. The winners were determined by a six-person panel of judges drawn from across the industry. Global Investor\/ISF editor, Alastair O\u2019Dell, said: \u201cThe submissions for this year\u2019s awards were exceptional. It is very reassuring to see such strong performance and intelligent innovation in difficult market conditions. It bodes extremely well for the future of our industry.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As well as being named Fund Administrator of the Year, Deutsche Bank won nine sub-custody awards in Pakistan, Philippines, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, UAE, Belgium, Germany and Portugal.<\/p>\n<p>Thibaud de Maintenant, Head of Direct Securities Services, said: \u201cThe geographic spread of these awards highlights one of our key differentiators: we\u2019re a local custodian operating in more than 30 markets around the world.
