\"Hedge-Fund-Launch<\/a>New York (HedgeCo.Net) – \u00a0Investcorp’s hedge fund business has agreed to seed\u00a0NY based investment manager\u00a0Kortright Capital Partners LP.\u00a0Kortright is the newest asset manager to join Investcorp’s Single Manager Platform, which has a total of\u00a0$2 billion\u00a0in client and proprietary assets under management.\u00a0 Historically, Investcorp provides initial seed capital ranging from\u00a0$50 to $100 million.<\/p>\n

“Through this partnership with Kortright, the Single Manager Platform can now provide investors with access to a hedge fund manager with expertise in monetizing opportunities stemming from corporate activity,” said\u00a0Nick Vamvakas, Managing Director, head of development for Investcorp’s Single Manager Platform. “Current market conditions have fostered an attractive environment for event equity strategies, and Kortright is one of very few true specialist managers in this space.”<\/p>\n
