Grondin as a Senior Research Analyst.\u00a0 Peter will join the North American Equities team, reporting to John Gisondi.\u00a0 He will focus on industry sectors including industrials, transportation and materials.<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_13_0_rc_1_1_1381769736535_5206\">Peter joins GLG from Millennium Management, where he managed a market neutral, long\/short industrial portfolio.\u00a0 Peter has more than fourteen years\u2019 experience in investment management, having previously held positions at alternative asset managers including Surveyor Capital, a subsidiary of Citadel, and O.S.S Capital Management.<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_13_0_rc_1_1_1381769736535_5190\"><b><\/b><b id=\"yui_3_13_0_rc_1_1_1381769736535_5200\">John Gisondi, Head of North American Equities said:<\/b><\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_13_0_rc_1_1_1381769736535_5196\">\u201cPeter represents the type of deep investment experience we look to bring to our clients, and we are delighted to welcome him to our team.\u00a0 He will add to our North American equity research capabilities which are central to our strategy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_13_0_rc_1_1_1381769736535_5202\">The GLG North American Equities team is headed by John Gisondi, who joined GLG in 2000, and has approximately $1.8 billion in client assets across long-only and alternative equity strategies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GLG, the discretionary investment management division of Man Group plc (\u201cMan\u201d), has appointed Peter J.
