{"id":4094,"date":"2006-03-08T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2006-03-08T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-30T04:00:00","slug":"reservoir-capital-invests-100m-in-new-hedge-fund","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hedgeco.net\/news\/03\/2006\/reservoir-capital-invests-100m-in-new-hedge-fund.html","title":{"rendered":"Reservoir Capital invests $100M in new hedge fund"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Investors Business Daily &#8211; Reservoir Capital Group, a $2.8 billion hedge-fund firm, has invested $100 million in Octavian Advisors LP, a new fund that will sniff out &#8220;special situations&#8221; in overseasmarkets.<\/p>\n<p>  Octavian will be run by Richard Hurowitz and Gregory Racz out of Reservoir&#8217;s Madison Avenue headquarters in New York, the firm said in a statement Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>  Hurowitz was a partner and managing principal at Halcyon Asset Management LLC, a multistrategy hedge fund based in New York.
