New York (HedgeCo.Net) — $4 billion hedge fund\u00a0Titan Advisors will be hosting its inaugural\u00a0Insurance Industry Hedge Fund Investing Summit\u00a0onThursday, April 10th\u00a0in New York City.\u00a0This full-day event will bring together several of the insurance industry’s largest hedge fund allocators, along with additional carriers seeking to build out their portfolio of alternatives.<\/p>\n
Hedge funds have historically represented a relatively small piece of insurer investment allocations. This event is designed to create a dialogue among insurers and industry advisors regarding the advantages of hedge fund investing, the role they can serve in an insurer’s portfolio and the challenges insurers may face when building out their exposure.<\/p>\n
