\"nyt-newsroom-chatter-andrew-ross-sorkin-in-running-to-become-ceo\"<\/a>New York (HedgeCo.Net) – Showtime has picked up a drama pilot written by\u00a0CNBC co-anchor\u00a0Andrew Ross Sorkin and \u201cOcean’s Thirteen\u201d writers\u00a0Brian Koppelman\u00a0and\u00a0David Levien.<\/p>\n

“Billions\u00a0<\/em>is a fictional drama that\u00a0focuses on the collision and, at times, collusion between an aggressive U.S. attorney in New York and some of the richest hedge fund billionaires in the country.” The Hollywood Reporter says.<\/p>\n

Koppelman took to Twitter to express his excitement and was soon joined by Sorkin:<\/p>\n

CBS is prepping an\u00a0untitled Wall Street drama\u00a0written by\u00a0Justified’<\/em>s\u00a0<\/em>Taylor Elmore,\u00a0while Fox Television Studios is adapting\u00a0Kevin\u00a0Roose’s best-seller\u00a0Young Money\u00a0<\/em>as a potential drama series, though no network is attached.”HollyWood reporter says.<\/p>\n
