Yes, the bank\u2019s revenues in equities and prime services were down 6% year-on-year in the first quarter, but equities are clearly embedded in Barclays\u2019 plans for its core investment bank.<\/p>\n<p>The scandal surrounding Barclays\u2019 dark pool doesn\u2019t change those plans, but it does make the bank\u2019s squeaky clean equities business look a bit smelly.
