Wyatt served as chief executive of Stark Investments Ltd., responsible for European activities, including asset allocation, risk management, marketing, operations, and legal and compliance.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt joined the SEC in December 2012 as a senior specialized examiner focused on examinations of advisers to hedge funds and private equity funds.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDuring his time here, Marc has demonstrated exceptional drive, judgment, and knowledge of the industry,\u201d said OCIE Director Andrew Bowden. \u201cHe is a superb manager and communicator, and he will continue to be an effective advocate for investors in his new position within OCIE.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Wyatt said, \u201cI am honored to take on this new role. It is a great opportunity to work with the talented OCIE staff throughout the country who have contributed so much to the success of the SEC\u2019s recent exam initiatives.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>OCIE conducts the SEC&#8217;s National Exam Program through examinations of SEC-registered investment advisers, investment companies, broker-dealers, self-regulatory organizations, clearing agencies, and transfer agents.
