(MGAM.O: <a href=\"http:\/\/today.reuters.com\/stocks\/overview.aspx?symbol=MGAM.O\">Quote<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/today.reuters.com\/stocks\/CompanyProfile.aspx?symbol=MGAM.O\">Profile<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/today.reuters.com\/stocks\/ResearchReports.aspx?symbol=MGAM.O\">Research<\/a>), saying it may run a proxy battle or take other measures.<\/p>\n<p>  Los Angeles-based Liberation, which holds nearly 6.4 percent of the stock of the Austin, Texas-based electronic games maker, said the company has made no &#8220;meaningful progress&#8221; in addressing the  fund&#8217;s concerns outlined in a letter sent to the company on Feb. 2.<\/p>\n<p>  Liberation, which successfully pressured to elect new board members to Bally Total Fitness (BFT.N: <a href=\"http:\/\/today.reuters.com\/stocks\/overview.aspx?symbol=BFT.N\">Quote<\/a>, <a href=  \"http:\/\/today.reuters.com\/stocks\/CompanyProfile.aspx?symbol=BFT.N\">Profile<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/today.reuters.com\/stocks\/ResearchReports.aspx?symbol=BFT.N\">Research<\/a>) last year, said if no  progress is made, it intends to &#8220;pursue all available alternatives&#8221; as a major shareholder, according to a regulatory filing.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/news\/url?sa=T&amp;ct=us\/5-0&amp;fd=R&amp;url=http:\/\/today.reuters.com\/investing\/financeArticle.aspx%3Ftype%3DfundsNews2%26storyID%3D2006-05-30T163604Z_01_N30432135_RTRIDST_0_FINANCIAL-LIBERATION-MULTIMEDIA.XML&amp;cid=1106900826&amp;ei=F0N9RKDcHpWQpwK89qWUAg\">ReadComplete Article<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Reuters &#8211; Activist hedge fund Liberation Investment Group LLC said on Tuesday it is stepping up its campaign to boost share value at Multimedia Games Inc.
