\"images<\/a>New York (HedgeCo.Net) – The Presidio Group, LLC has opened an office in Washington, D.C. This will be the firm\u2019s third office and its first on the east coast. Steve Aucamp and Brian Pierson, both formerly of Convergent Wealth Advisors, will join The Presidio Group as managing directors and co-head the new office. Samantha Dean and Brad Lackey, also both formerly with Convergent Wealth Advisors, will join Aucamp and Pierson in the D.C. office as vice presidents.<\/p>\n

Aucamp has more than 20 years of experience advising ultra-wealthy individuals and family offices. Prior to joining Convergent Wealth Advisors in 2004, Aucamp served as vice president and relationship manager of Atlantic Trust Private Wealth Management. Before that, Aucamp practiced law for 11 years, most recently as a partner with a boutique estate planning firm in Florida. Aucamp earned his Bachelor\u2019s degree from Emory University and his law degree and LLM in Estate Planning from the University of Miami.<\/p>\n

Prior to joining The Presidio Group, Brian Pierson served as a director in the advisory group of Convergent Wealth Advisors, joining that firm in 2000. Prior to Convergent, he worked at NASDAQ. He earned a Bachelor\u2019s degree from the Calloway School of Business and Accountancy at Wake Forest University.<\/p>\n

Samantha Dean spent the last nine years at Convergent Wealth Advisors, most recently as a director in the advisory group. She earned a Bachelor\u2019s degree from Smith College.<\/p>\n

Most recently, Brad Lackey served as an associate director at Convergent Wealth Advisors, where he began his career after graduating with a Bachelor\u2019s degree from The George Washington University in 2007.<\/p>\n
