(Nasdaq: AAPL) during the fourth quarter of 2014. Greenlight Capital\u00a0cut its stake in Apple during the fourth quarter by 6.2% to 8.6 million shares.<\/p>\n<p>Coatue Management sold 1.7 million shares at the end of the quarter, lowering their stake in AAPL by 15 %, but the company is still the biggest holding in the portfolio.<br \/>\nSoroban Capital Partners sold 4.3 million call options on Apple and that liquidated the fund\u2019s entire position.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, Appaloosa Management reported that it had sold all of its stake in AAPL.<br \/>\nDespite the selling the stock was still able to gain 11.77% in the fourth quarter and it is up another 16.27% so far in 2015.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New York (HedgeCo.Net) According to a recent report by CNBC, several high profile hedge funds sold all or part of their positions on Apple Inc.
