\u201cThe dynamic star pairing of Paul Giamatti and Damian Lewis is matched by an equally exciting team in the writing of this show.\u201d President of Entertainment at Showtime, David Nevins, said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHard charging, whip-smart U.S. Attorney Chuck Rhoades (Giamatti), and the brilliant ambitious hedge fund king, Bobby \u201cAxe\u201d Axelrod,\u201d collide in the the new show \u201cBillions,\u201d which \u201ctakes a forensic look at the world of high finance by tracking the approaching collision between two titanic figures.\u201d Showtime said in a press release.<\/p>\n

\u201cAndrew Ross Sorkin, one of the preeminent financial\"\"<\/a> journalists of our time, has joined forces with Brian Koppelman and David Levien, two of Hollywood\u2019s most accomplished screenwriters, to tackle an incredibly timely and buzzy subject.\u201d Nevins said. \u201dWith this caliber of writing and acting, I think the show\u2019s authenticity and insider look will have great appeal to a discerning audience.\u201d<\/p>\n

The cast also includes Maggie Siff (Sons Of Anarchy), Malin Akerman (Children\u2019s Hospital), Toby Leonard Moore (Daredevil), David Costabile (Suits) and Condola Rashad (Smash).
\nCurrently being shot in New York, \u201cBillions\u201d is set for release in 2016.<\/p>\n
