This year: more than $2.8 billion. <\/p>\n<p>Buffett announced the gift of 20.64 million Berkshire Hathaway class b shares on the company\u2019s website Monday. Berkshire Hathaway\u2019s class b stock closed at $137.39 per share Thursday, making the gift worth $2.84 billion.
