SAN FRANCISCO, November 27, 2006 – Conifer Securities, LLC, a leading

opened an office in the British Virgin Islands (BVI), its first offshore
fund administration facility.<\/p>\n
The new Conifer entity, Conifer Fund Services BVI, officially opens on
January 1, 2007. The office will be headed by Peter O’ Connell,
Managing Director. <\/p>\n

Conifer Securities. “Our first stand-alone offshore administration
center in BVI will now provide the same high-quality service that the

Before the firm’s BVI office, Conifer Securities provided offshore
fund administration to global clients through a strategic relationship
with Hedge Fund Services BVI. <\/p>\n
Prior to Conifer Fund Services BVI, Mr. O’Connell, 38, worked as a
Fund Administrator at Fortis Prime Fund Solutions (formerly Hedge Fund
Services (BVI) Ltd). Prior to Fortis, he was UK Finance Director for
EPCglobal, a specialist global staffing company. Mr. O’Connell
received a bachelor from the University of Sheffield in the United
Kingdom and is a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of England
and Wales.<\/p>\n
Steve Bispham, 40, will be the Compliance Director of Conifer Fund
Services BVI. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a Fund
Administrator with Fortis Prime Fund Solutions. Before Fortis, he was a
Fund Accountant at Fortis Fund Services Cayman Islands. Mr. Bispham
holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of the
West Indies (Barbados) and is a Chartered Accountant and member of the
Certified General Accountants Association of Canada.<\/p>\n
Marc Grannum, 42, will be the Operations Director for Conifer Fund
Services BVI. He was also previously a Fund Administrator for Fortis
and, prior to that, a Senior Auditor for Pannell Kerr Forster in
Trinidad and Financial Controller for VI Block Company Ltd in the
British Virgin Islands. Mr. Grannum has attended the Emile Woolf School
of Accounting in London and the Queens Royal College in Port of Spain,
Trinidad and is a graduate of Chartered Association of Certified
Accountants in London.<\/p>\n
