FIM Advisers LLP\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s (FIM) flagship low-volatility fund of funds, FIM Long-Invest, has broken $1 billion in assets as of December 31, 2006. The Fund had a very positive 2006 rising 10.57% net of fees in the USD share class despite difficult market conditions during the middle part of the year.<\/p>\n
Since its launch in September 1997, FIM Long-Invest\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s annualised gross return has been 10.16% with a volatility of 2.99%. In the 10 years since inception (making it one of the longest running pure low volatility funds of hedge funds), the Fund has achieved 88% of \u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c5\u201cup\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c2\u009d months and only 17 \u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c5\u201cdown\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c2\u009d months.<\/p>\n
