HedgeCo.net -London 14th March 2007. The Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA), the leading global hedge fund and alternative investment industry association today announced that it will respond to new IOSCO valuation proposals.<\/p>\n
Following on IOSCO\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s release of a Consultation Report on the Principles for the Valuation of Hedge Fund Portfolios, AIMA has responded positively to the Report and its contents.<\/p>\n
AIMA will also be issuing its Guide to Sound Practices for Hedge Fund Valuation next week which will include 15 Recommendations for the industry and its investors. The Guide will be shared with all regulators, fiscal and governmental authorities on its release and demonstrates the proactive role that the hedge fund industry has taken on this and other topics.<\/p>\n
