Roberts has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Cornell Capital Partners Offshore.<\/p>\n

From 1990-1995 Mr. Roberts served as a Commissioner of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). In addition to his service at the SEC, from 2002 to 2004 Mr. Roberts served as a member of the District 10 Regional Consultative Committee of the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc., and from 1999 to 2001, he served as a member of the Market Regulation Advisory Board of the NASD and from 1996 to 1998 he served as a member of the Legal Advisory Board of the NASD. Mr. Roberts was a partner at the law firm of Thelen Reid & Priest, from 1997 until March 2006.<\/p>\n
Prior to his tenure at the SEC, Mr. Roberts was the Chief of Staff and the Legislative Director to former Congressman and Senator from Alabama Richard C. Shelby. He received a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University, a J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law and a Master of Laws from the George Washington University Law Center.<\/p>\n
Currently Mr. Roberts is a partner at Roberts, Raheb & Gradler, a regulatory and legislative consulting firm he co-founded in March 2006, where he provides legal, consulting and advisory services to clients on issues relating to financial institution regulation and legislation.<\/p>\n
The addition of Mr. Roberts brings the Offshore Board to six directors.<\/p>\n
