Legal Week- Nixon Peabody has unveiled its long-planned City arm, handing the top 100 US law firm its first foreign outpost, it was announced today (18 October).<\/p>\n

The seven-lawyer branch will be overseen by New York-qualified financial services specialist Stavros Adamidis, with three partners being based permanently in the UK.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The firm launches the practice with three UK-qualified partners, Paul Biggs, Simon Norris and Patrick Leece, and one UK associate alongside three US associates.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The firm said the practice will focus primarily in leverage and project finance and corporate trust work, as well as serving as an international hub for the firm\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s arbitration practice.<\/p>\n
