John McCain is getting less financial support from hedge funds, private equity firms, pharmaceutical and oil companies, and other controversial business sectors on his  presidential bid than former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani and New York Sen. Hillary Clinton.<\/p>\n<p>  Clinton, the Democratic front-runner, has received the most contributions from pharmaceutical makers, commercial banks, Wall Street investment houses and the real estate sector, according to the  Center for Responsive Politics.<\/p>\n<p>  The Washington-based group calculates those numbers based on campaign donations from political actions committees, employees and executives within those sectors.<\/p>\n<p>  Giuliani, who leads national Republican presidential polls, is the top recipient when it comes to contributions from oil and gas companies, hedge funds and private equity firms. Clinton is second  in terms of donations from hedge funds and private equity firms, according to CFRP.<\/p>\n<p>  McCain ranks sixth in terms of contributions from private equity firms and hedge funds, insurance companies, securities firms and the pharmaceutical industry.
