{"id":7388,"date":"2008-03-26T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2008-03-26T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-30T04:00:00","slug":"cameron-allys-hedge-fund-closes-after-sec-complaint","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hedgeco.net\/news\/03\/2008\/cameron-allys-hedge-fund-closes-after-sec-complaint.html","title":{"rendered":"Cameron ally&#8217;s hedge fund closes after SEC complaint"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is Money- Pentagon Capital Management, a hedge fund run by Lewis Chester, a Tory donor and friend of David Cameron, today became the latest to fall victim to the credit crunch. <\/p>\n<p>Chester decided to close the fund, which has about &pound;1bn under management and is based in Knightsbridge, after the US Securities and Exchange Commission filed a civil complaint against him and one of Pentagon&#8217;s old funds last week. <\/p>\n<p>He has written to Pentagon investors telling them he is winding down the fund and returning their money.
