(Nasdaq:CTLM), innovator of broadband communications technology, today announced the addition of venture capital andnetworking industry veteran Hassan Parsa as Vice President of Business Development. Reporting directly to Centillium’s Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder, Faraj Aalaei, Parsa is responsible forguiding the Company’s business development and strategic partnership initiatives.<\/p>\n

Prior to joining Centillium, Parsa served as a General Partner with Lucent Venture Partners, an early stage venture capital firm funded by Lucent Technologies and focused on Communications and Network Infrastructure investments. As a Founding Partner, he played a key role in developing Lucent Venture Partners’ investment strategy and managed many of the firm’s most successful investments. Prior to founding LVP, Parsa held executive and business management positions at Lucent Technologies and AT&T Network Systems, where he was responsible for business development and mergers and acquisitions execution. Parsa holds an MBA from Columbia Business School along with a BS and an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland.<\/p>\n
