Stocks were rocked in both directions in the past week, with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/.DJI\">Dow Jones Industrial Average<\/a> seeing its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2022\/02\/16\/stock-market-futures-open-to-close-news.html\">worst day of the year Thursday<\/a>. The three major averages were lower for the week with the Dow off 1.9%, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/.IXIC\">Nasdaq<\/a> down 1.7%, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/.SPX\">S&amp;P 500<\/a> down 1.6%.
