That question was seemingly answered by JPMorgan Chase and Citigroup, both of which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2023\/04\/14\/jpmorgan-chase-jpm-earnings-1q-2023.html\">beat estimates<\/a> in part because of better-than-expected <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2023\/04\/14\/citigroup-c-earnings-q1-2023.html\">fixed income<\/a>.
