Markets also looked ahead to another key inflation reading. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/DIS\/\">Disney<\/a> shares added nearly 1% in extended trading after the entertainment giant <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2023\/07\/12\/disney-extends-ceo-bob-igers-contract-through-2026-two-years-longer-than-planned.html\">extended CEO Bob Iger\u2019s contract<\/a> through 2026, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2023\/07\/12\/stock-futures-today-live-updates.html#\">two years longer<\/a> than planned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Futures tied to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/@SP.1\/\">S&amp;P 500<\/a> rose 0.1%, while <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/@ND.1\/\">Nasdaq 100<\/a> futures added nearly 0.2%.
