The deal, expected to close in early 2026, will deepen S&amp;P\u2019s footprint in private-market analytics \u2014 a fast-growing but fragmented sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis acquisition advances our goal of providing comprehensive transparency across both public and private capital markets,\u201d said Douglas Peterson, CEO of S&amp;P Global, in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Analysts say the move mirrors S&amp;P\u2019s earlier purchase of Preqin and reflects surging demand for private-asset benchmarks as alternative investments mature. \u201cData is becoming the new currency of private markets,\u201d noted Bernstein analyst Sarah Kwon. \u201cManagers need standardized performance and risk metrics to attract institutional capital.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With Intelligence is forecast to generate about $130 million in 2025 revenue.
