CEO Caleb Peffer said proceeds will help build a knowledge library for AI agents and expand paid access to contributor data.<\/p>\n<p>Alexandria is described as combining official data providers, custom connectors and Firecrawl\u2019s own indexes with the live web so agents can discover sources and retrieve content through a common API. Firecrawl said more than 1.5 million users build with its crawling and parsing tools, which originated from earlier work on documentation chat product Mendable.<\/p>\n<p>The company said it already pays providers such as Wikimedia Enterprise and plans a self-service system for individuals and organizations to earn when agents use their knowledge.<\/p>\n<p>For AI-infra venture allocators, the hard marks are the $75 million Smash Capital-led Series B, named syndicate (Altos, Nexus, YC, Freestyle, Offline), the Alexandria product launch, and the >1.5 million user claim.
