Alpha Finance and CryptoETF.today put the October 21 total at $524.8 million, while figures reported by KuCoin showed $528.41 million; the small gap reflects differences in how and when each tracker compiles issuer data.

Inflows were concentrated in the two largest products. Alpha Finance recorded about $235.0 million into BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust, and CoinLab data showed roughly $212.7 million into the Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund. Smaller additions went to Grayscale’s two funds, Bitwise, ARK and 21Shares, and Franklin, according to CoinLab, which had not yet captured BlackRock’s flow when it published.

The day lifted seven-session inflows to about $912 million, according to Alpha Finance, a sharp turnaround from the first half of October, when the complex posted outflows of $484.9 million on October 7 and $261.4 million on October 14. Bitcoin closed October 21 at about $82,985, the same tracker showed, up modestly from $81,903 the day before. Across all U.S. spot crypto ETFs, CryptoETF.today counted $556.5 million of net inflows on the day, with ether products adding about $14.9 million.

Flows remain lumpy. Between the two large inflow days came October 20, when the funds drew just $23.2 million, and ether ETFs have still lost about $349 million over the past seven sessions even as bitcoin products gathered assets. That divergence suggests institutional demand is concentrating in the largest, most liquid wrapper rather than spreading across the digital-asset complex.

For allocators and crypto fund managers, the creation data is a useful read on demand from advisers, hedge funds and other institutions, but it is backward-looking by design: creations settle in baskets and authorized participants have usually hedged before the coins are bought. Two half-billion-dollar days in one week point to renewed buying, without yet establishing a trend.

HedgeCo.Net — U.S. spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds took in roughly $525 million on Wednesday, October 21, the third consecutive day of net inflows and nearly matching the $526.7… Continue reading →

[16282
16594,16780,17051,16375,16813,16781,17052
post-92346","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-crypto","tag-bitcoin-etfs","tag-blackrock-ibit","tag-crypto-funds","tag-digital-assets","tag-etf-flows","tag-fidelity-fbtc","tag-institutional-demand
["GET
