The Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) today announced that two promising university spinouts – each led by well-known serial entrepreneurs – will present at CED’s upcoming Capital Connection Quarterly Luncheon. Affinergy, led by newly announced CEO Peyton Anderson, and ArrayXpress, led by interim CEO Michael Zapata, will both present their funding requirements and business strategies at CED’s Capital Connection Luncheon on Wednesday, Sept. 10, from 12 to 1:30 p.m. at the RTP’s Sheraton Imperial Hotel.<\/p>\n
Anderson, who co-founded SciQuest in 1995, recently announced that he is leaving the Durham-based company to become CEO of Duke University spinout Affinergy. Zapata, former CEO of LIPSinc, is currently the interim CEO of N.C. State University spinout ArrayXpress.<\/p>\n
